The EBRD completed a detailed assessment of the insolvency office holder profession that evaluates the profession's state of development and performance in the EBRD's region. The results of the assessment reveal important information not only about insolvency office holders, but also about the insolvency systems in which they operate and the dynamics of the relationship between office holders, creditors and the court. The findings of the assessment were discussed in an article on Law in Transition 2014 that discusses a number of critical issues for creditors arising from the EBRD's assessment of the insolvency office holder profession. The cross-jurisdictional assessment report and country reports are available on the EBRD website. The Assessment has led to a number of country projects on insolvency office holders in Armenia, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece and Tunisia.
