Turkey – Distressed loan analysis
In December 2019 the EBRD Legal Transition Team completed a detailed legal, tax, accounting and regulatory review of the Turkish distressed loan market and framework with a view to identifying potential areas for reform. The report was an independent EBRD initiated-project, which aimed to inform the EBRD’s policy dialogue in Turkey.
